Developer Batterystaple Games has announced the exact release date for 30XX.

The rogue-like platformer inspired by Mega Man will be launching on August 9th 2023 for Switch and PC. Another new trailer was also shared, which you can find below along with some additional details:

Rise from the ashes in a post-apocalyptic future conquered by evil robots to discover what the past 1,000 years has come to as the dynamic cyber-duo Nina and Ace. Outmatch overwhelming enemies in heavy duty, fast-paced action in the roguelite Classic Mode, or take it easy in the permadeath-free Mega Mode in either single-player or online/couch co-op with a friend.

Procure new weapons and power ups across ten randomly-generated levels, all to the sweet sounds of a retro chiptune flavored original soundtrack. Build, share, and play custom levels with the MegaCommunity in the new Maker Mode on PC, and enjoy these levels on Nintendo Switch as well. Design stages jam-packed with endless editing options for the trickiest of brain teasing puzzles and the toughest speedrunning challenges, or craft your own Metroidvania.
